Working owners who dedicate their lives to this unique restaurant are amazing and I love to support them as a patron…in return I receive amazing food and entertainment provided almost nightly. Live music, Karaoke, Sing-Alongs, paint night and so on. The menu has a funny name for every meal so be prepared to read every item to figure out what it is, and it’s worth it! The atmosphere is perfect in this relic church conversion, not to mention how good music sounds in this building. I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy yourself. Say hello for me!

Totally fabulous food and service….3 of us had clams, smoked salmon linguine, a burger…and to die for chocolate mouse pie…we were all very happy and can’t wait to go back…forgot to pick up the take-out menu….for future reference….I had been there once a long time ago and forgot how good it was…super happy to see organic chicken on the menu…terrific variety…a gem of a place.

Just went earlier tonight for the first time – I’ve driven right past this place a lot, wife and I wanted to go out, we live nearby, so we decided to pop in and see how it is. I think it’s going to be very difficult for us to want to go anywhere else now when we go out to eat. The service was fantastic, smiles all around, checked in on us a couple times unobtrusively, were quick to respond when we flagged them down for a couple to-go boxes, and clearly enjoyed working there. As for the food? Absolutely amazing. Entrees and appetizers were fantastic, you can very clearly tell that it’s all housemade to order, and made by someone that loves what they do. Sorry Mom, but this is some of the best food I’ve ever had! I’m already eager to go back and enjoy another meal

I was taking my son out for his birthday, to the Jack Axe, to throw some axes and do something “different”…I wanted something different for dinner too. Now my husband is on a Keto diet for his health, and the rest of us wanted something amazing. I found Spinella’s online. I loved the idea it is in an old church. I loved the architecture. And I loved the idea that it was not a chain.
We arrived after 8pm, and it was not too busy. The menu is clear and amazing. The names of the meals are so funny, it sparked lots of conversation at our table. They were willing to help make meals keto compliant, and they even let me switch the protein out on mine. I had the most amazing meal here that I have had since I moved to Portland. No kidding. In fact, I struggle with telling you this, because you will flock there in large numbers perhaps, and I will have to wait in line to get that amazing white sauce. But, I owe it to the Yelp community to say, it is amazing. It’s a fun place, the art work is eclectic and the atmosphere is light. But the food. Oh my goodness the food. The potted bread is something I loved in Vegas at another restaurant and thought I would never see again. The pasta dishes are so phenomenal, oh my, I’m salivating on the keys just thinking about it.
